Apprentice Inspector (H&S) - Dining Out Program

The selected candidates will inspect over 11,000 Open Restaurants citywide to ensure compliance with DOT specifications and rules. They will be required to properly route daily work and submit daily reports, describe issues to restaurant owners, and investigate complaints. The role involves evaluating conditions, taking appropriate action using Corrective Action Requests, and issuing summonses when required. Candidates may also need to operate a passenger vehicle and use various devices to track inspections via DOT's PRISM System.
