About this role
An Apprentice Lineworker participates in a structured apprenticeship program to develop the skills and knowledge required to become a Journeyman Lineworker. Under close supervision, the apprentice assists in the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical power systems while gaining hands-on experience in overhead linework and emergency restoration. Progression through training stages, on-the-job hours, and assessments is required to advance to higher apprenticeship levels.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass Apprentice Power Lineworker Entrance Exam
- Pass Climbing School
- Puerto Rico Driver's License (Category 9 or obtain within 90 days)
- Permit to Operate Commercial Vehicle (NTSP)
- Driver's Record (DTOP)
- DOT Pre-employment Drug Test
- DOT Medical Certification
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- AED Certification (Preferred)
