Arborist 1

The City of Madison Streets and Urban Forestry Division is seeking skilled candidates to perform manual work involving the care and maintenance of city trees, including pruning, treatment, and planting. The role involves operating specialized equipment, conducting inspections, and ensuring public safety while working under the supervision of a Forestry Foreperson. Candidates will be hired at either the Arborist 1 or Arborist Trainee level based on their technical climbing skills and qualifications.
