Archives and Art Resources: Digital Access and Records Intern

The Digital Access and Records Intern at SFMOMA supports the Archives and Art Resources department in expanding online access to artworks in the museum’s collection. The role centers on preparing, packaging, and publishing artworks to third-party licensing platforms and the museum’s website, ensuring they are discoverable to broad audiences. The intern will be jointly mentored by collections management and digital asset management teams and gain exposure to workflows that connect these systems. Over nine weeks, the intern participates in structured programming, educational visits, and museum-wide presentations to build professional experience in museum and digital records work.
