The Area Director, Pricing leads local pricing strategy and execution while managing all aspects of margin for local business within a specific area. They serve as a primary coach for pricing and margin, developing a team of direct and indirect reports to drive profitable growth and sales. The role involves analyzing financial data, implementing margin-focused strategies, and collaborating with sales leadership and various stakeholders to optimize pricing decisions.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute local pricing strategy to maximize margins and profitability
Analyze COGs, freight rates, and marketing activities affecting gross and net margins
Coach and develop the Area Pricing Analyst and indirect reporting staff
Recommend low limit guardrails and pricing adjustments to support area sales targets
Identify product and category opportunities for continuous pricing and margin improvement
