Armed Security Officer

The Armed Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and property at assigned healthcare facilities. The role involves proactive patrols, access control, incident response, and de-escalation of disruptive behavior while collaborating with clinical staff and local law enforcement. Officers exercise discretion regarding weapon use, only employing it during extreme attacks after all non-violent options are exhausted. Senior Armed Security Officers also serve as resources for junior team members and support training and daily operations.
