About this role

The ASAM Implementation Specialist serves as the organization’s subject matter expert on the American Society of Addiction Medicine Criteria, supporting the implementation, integration, and ongoing application of ASAM standards across behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment programs. This temporary, two‑year role combines advanced clinical expertise with project management to guide clinicians, develop workflows, deliver training, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide expert consultation on ASAM assessments and level of care
Coordinate and manage ASAM implementation projects across programs
Develop and deliver training and technical assistance for clinical staff

Skills

Qualifications

Master's degree in behavioral health, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related fieldCurrent Colorado clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent)Certified Addictions Specialist (CAS)Licensed Addiction Specialist (LAC) (preferred)Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
