ASL Linguistics Intern

The internship supports the generation team by annotating and glossing ASL classifier video data to improve English-to-Gloss translation models and avatar signing pipelines. The role involves designing annotation schemas, labeling features, conducting minimal pair analysis, and creating a classifier inventory with a final demo. Candidates should be native ASL signers with a background in linguistics, computer science, or data science and an interest in sign language technology.
