Assistant Civil Engineer

The Assistant Civil Engineer position within the Engineering Services Division is responsible for delivering capital improvement projects that maintain or improve transportation facilities, including roadway safety improvements, bridge replacements, and active transportation projects. The role involves managing projects from initial concepts through construction and administrative close-out, while also managing budgets, pursuing grant funding, and procuring consultant services. This position performs professional civil engineering work in planning, design, plan review, and construction within traffic, transportation, water resources, or structural engineering areas.
