Assistant Clerk (NS)

The Assistant Clerk processes matters of original jurisdiction before the Clerk and hears cases on behalf of the Clerk in areas such as Foreclosures, Guardianship, Adoptions, and Estates. This role involves meeting with attorneys and the public to explain rules and procedures while applying critical thinking to state statutes and case law. The position requires cross-training in the Estates Division and reporting directly to the Clerk of Court.
