Assistant Director - Employee Communications

The Assistant Director, Strategic Employee Communications leads enterprise employee communications to engage, equip, and activate employees and leaders across Northwestern Mutual. This role partners with senior stakeholders—especially within the People Function—to translate complex topics into clear, audience-focused messaging that supports HR priorities, Total Rewards, and employee experience initiatives. The position influences communication strategy, measures effectiveness, and helps shape the employee experience through leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
