Assistant Director for Cloud Computing

The Assistant Director for Cloud Computing provides technical and strategic leadership for the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of secure research computing environments at the Cecil G. Sheps Center. This role leads the transition to cloud-based architectures while maintaining on-premises Linux-based compute enclaves to support sensitive health services research. The position ensures alignment with research data security and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA and NIST standards, while collaborating with researchers and security teams to support advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
