Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Planning or Public Administration
Four Years Emergency Management Experience
Valid Driver's License
Technician Level Amateur Radio License (or ability to obtain)
CJIS Eligibility (Fingerprint-Based Background Check)
Master's Degree in Emergency Management or Public Administration (Preferred)
Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) (Preferred)
Texas Division of Emergency Management Certification (Preferred)
