Assistant Emergency Manager Coordinator

The Assistant Emergency Management Coordinator supports the development and implementation of emergency management programs to enhance preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience for the Galveston community. This role involves assisting with emergency planning, crisis communications, public information, logistical coordination, and managing the Emergency Operations Center during incidents. The position also supervises the non-emergency call center and maintains critical infrastructure relationships with local, state, and federal partners.
