Assistant Finance Director

The Assistant Finance Director oversees all city financial accounting and purchasing functions, including supervising staff, managing the monthly and fiscal year-end close, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role partners with the Chief Financial Officer to develop long-term financial initiatives and serves as a backup for key finance department positions. The position is responsible for internal and external audit coordination, financial reporting, and the implementation of accounting standards.
