Assistant Nurse Manager-Float

The Assistant Nurse Manager-Float guides, directs, teaches, evaluates, and counsels unit staff in providing professional care and complying with policies and procedures. This role acts as a clinical educator, implements the nursing practice model, and provides direct patient care as needed. The position assumes administrative responsibility for the 6 Doctors units in the absence of the Nurse Manager and provides input on hiring, counseling, and terminating employees.
