About this role

The Assistant Paramedic Program Coordinator supports the Paramedic Program Coordinator in leading and managing the Paramedic Education Program at LaGuardia Community College. This role ensures program compliance with CAAHEP standards and New York State regulations through administrative oversight, curriculum management, and clinical coordination. Key duties include delivering instruction, coordinating field placements, advising students, and maintaining accreditation documentation.

Responsibilities

Support implementation and documentation of CAAHEP Standards and NYS regulations
Deliver classroom, lab, and simulation instruction consistent with EMS standards
Coordinate clinical and field placement sites and verify preceptor qualifications
Provide academic advising and maintain student records and competency tracking
Mentor adjunct faculty and maintain relationships with EMS agency partners
