About this role
The Fundamental Symmetry Group in the Physics Division at Argonne National Laboratory seeks a junior staff experimental nuclear/atomic physicist to be appointed as an Assistant Physicist (equivalent to a tenure-track Assistant Professor). The position emphasizes lab-based precision tests of fundamental symmetries to probe physics beyond the Standard Model using cold atom and molecule techniques and radioisotope-enabled experiments. The appointee will both support the group's ongoing research program and develop an independent, innovative research plan.
