About this role

The Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) acts as the Owner's Representative for complex underground tunneling, wastewater, utility, and heavy civil infrastructure projects, overseeing construction, commissioning, and closeout phases. The role provides construction management oversight, coordinates with owners, contractors, designers, and agencies, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while supporting project controls, contract administration, and risk management.

Responsibilities

Monitor contractor performance and manage project controls including cost and schedule
Coordinate public outreach and stakeholder communications
