Assistant Underwriter

This role supports the underwriting department by handling limited exposure accounts and completing underwriting functions according to established guidelines and Letter of Authority. The position involves reviewing submissions, assessing risk, determining appropriate terms, and processing renewals within delegated authority. The assistant underwriter also prepares proposals, maintains records, and serves as a liaison between agents, the insurance company, and other parties.
