About this role
The Associate Dean of Pre-clerkship Curriculum is a senior faculty leader in Saint Louis University School of Medicine responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and evaluation of the competency-based pre-clerkship curriculum. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean of Undergraduate Medical Education, the role is a member of the medical school leadership team and promotes educational innovation and medical education scholarship. The appointment is approximately 0.6 FTE with expectation of advancement through faculty ranks based on scholarly activities, teaching, and service.
