About this role

The Associate Director, Clinical Scientist at Madrigal supports the development and execution of clinical trials for novel therapeutics targeting metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Reporting to the VP of Clinical Development, this role drives scientific strategy, clinical trial design, and data interpretation for portfolio assets. It involves leading study protocols, authoring regulatory documents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance liver disease treatments through to regulatory milestones.

Responsibilities

Lead scientific strategy and clinical trial design for MASH therapeutic portfolios
Design and develop clinical trial protocols including objectives and eligibility criteria
Author and review key clinical documents for regulatory submissions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and study conduct
Conduct data reviews and support interpretation with biostatistics teams
