About this role

The Salesforce Technical Architecture & Strategy Lead at Vertex drives the architecture and strategy for the Vertex Connects Portal, a Salesforce-based platform supporting Cell and Gene Therapy systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications, manage the full lifecycle of regulated CGT platforms, and implement DevOps frameworks to enhance operational efficiency. As a cornerstone of the Data, Technology, and Engineering team, the position ensures seamless platform operations while advancing AI-driven initiatives and meeting strict GxP compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Lead platform architecture and strategy for Salesforce-based Cell and Gene Therapy systems
Create and validate detailed architectural and functional specifications for critical portals
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of regulated CGT platforms ensuring compliance
Define and optimize DevOps frameworks and software development capacities across teams
Coach and lead diverse platform teams including vendor partners and offshore resources
