The Associate Principal Scientist, Microbiologist serves as the scientific authority for food microbiology across the MEU region, owning the execution of global scientific strategies and technical frameworks for microbiological risk assessment, thermal process validation, and laboratory network governance. This role involves leading risk assessments for food safety special situations, designing and overseeing thermal validation studies, and integrating food safety by design into innovation projects. The position requires strong scientific leadership to build organizational capability, manage laboratory networks, and translate complex microbiological science into actionable recommendations for operations and business leaders.
