The Associate Principal Scientist (R4) is a senior scientific role within the Mixed Modalities team of Sterile Product Development focused on translating preclinical candidates into parenteral drug products across modalities (small molecules, peptides, proteins, ADCs, and biologics). The position is based at Merck and requires collaboration in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams to support development from preclinical through commercialization. The role contributes to organizational innovation and technical leadership in sterile product development.
