Associate Teacher Counselor

The Associate Teacher Counselor is responsible for the assessment, planning, and implementation of social/emotional instruction and behavior support plans in coordination with the classroom team. The role involves collaborating with staff, parents, and professionals to deliver an integrated educational and behavioral program within an ecologically-based model. This position requires documentation of services, utilization of positive behavioral supports, and adherence to trauma-informed and therapeutic crisis intervention models. The role also includes transporting students, participating in required trainings, and supporting students' personal care and safety needs.
