About this role

CIBC seeks an Associate in the Global Technology & Innovation Investment Banking office to support corporate and government clients with strategic advice, equity financing, and mergers and acquisitions. The role involves conducting industry research, preparing client proposals and pitchbooks, executing financial models, and assisting in due diligence for high-growth technology sectors. Candidates will work closely with Managing Directors to deliver transaction execution and financing solutions under the guidance of senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Conduct industry research and financial analysis for investment opportunities.
Prepare complex financial models for client proposals and pitchbooks.
Assist in due diligence investigations and transaction execution.
Generate transaction ideas based on technical and geopolitical knowledge.
