The Assistant Director of Traffic and Incident Management provides high-level administrative, financial, and operational leadership to ensure roadway safety and policy compliance. This role manages budgeting, capital forecasting, and contract administration while supervising, mentoring, and developing personnel. The position evaluates traffic operations to recommend engineering modifications and deploy safety improvements, including the implementation of ITS equipment. It also involves strategic planning, contract procurement and oversight, and may temporarily act as Department Director when needed.
