About this role

An experienced Simulation Engineer at KBR supports the Tactical Aviation & Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office by developing next-generation modeling and simulation capabilities for weapon systems like HELLFIRE and JAGM. This role focuses on evaluating emerging technologies, integrating digital engineering tools, and conducting trade studies to enable advanced concept development for current and future munition systems. The position requires collaboration with science & technology partners to transition advanced capabilities into the program of record while ensuring models meet DoD standards.

Responsibilities

Support digital models and simulation architectures to evaluate emerging guidance and propulsion technologies
Lead integration of new analytical tools and simulation frameworks into weapon system development pipelines
Conduct early-phase performance and feasibility assessments for future missile concepts and targeting solutions
Support technology maturation efforts through high-fidelity simulations, trade studies, and digital prototypes
Perform verification, validation, and accreditation activities to ensure new models meet DoD standards
