The Arc is a nonprofit organization that promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). It provides advocacy, community-based supports and services—such as housing, employment assistance, community inclusion programs, and family resources—to help people with IDD live full, self-determined lives. The Arc also works on public policy, education, and community partnerships to advance inclusion and accessibility, and relies on members, volunteers, and donors to sustain its work.
