About this role

The Automation & Controls Specialist will work directly with Packaging and Process departments to deliver automation solutions for the facility, leading autonomously and making data-based decisions in a dynamic environment. This role involves improving current automation, eliminating daily losses, and supporting the execution of strategic improvement plans to achieve OEE targets. The specialist will also maintain and configure PLC hardware, VFDs, and servo motors while ensuring compliance with National Electric Code requirements.

Responsibilities

Deliver automation solutions and improve current low cost automation within departments
Perform advanced PLC ladder logic programming including PID loop control and sequencers
Review breakdown Root Cause Analysis actions and ensure completion of strategic improvement plans
