About this role

The Automation Engineer (BMS) designs, programs, implements, and maintains the Building Management System and Environmental Monitoring System for a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical facility, ensuring HVAC and cleanroom environments meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 requirements. The role provides Tier 2/3 technical support, leads validation activities, and manages system uptime, compliance, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

Design, program, and commission PLC, DDC, and SCADA control logic for facility utilities
Maintain validated BMS/EMS state and ensure data integrity per regulatory requirements
Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and manage automation vendor interactions

Skills

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
