About this role

As an Automation Engineer on Roche's Business Solutions team in Basel/Kaiseraugst, you will lead the planning and implementation of compliant automation projects for pharmaceutical production and laboratory facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of automation systems, integrating them with IT infrastructure and Data Historians, and ensuring optimal performance of complex process plants. This role requires collaborating with internal and external specialists to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions under GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute automation projects from initiation to realization phases
Design and implement automation systems within the industrial infrastructure
Integrate automation systems with Data Historian and IT networks

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering or Computer Science5 Years of experience in Automation or InformaticsExperience in GMP and GAMP environments
