The Automation Engineer designs, builds, and maintains automated quality checks to enable delivery squads to shift testing left and build quality into delivery from day one. The role involves defining automation approaches, supporting CI/CD integration, and developing reusable automation frameworks across API, UI, and mobile layers. Automation Engineers collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure solutions are testable, reduce defect costs, and provide reliable quality feedback throughout the software lifecycle.
