About this role

The Automation Technician at ONEOK provides control system development, programming, and support for Distributed Control Systems, Safety Instrumented Systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers within plant and compressor station environments. This role involves commissioning new facilities, performing daily maintenance and troubleshooting, and responding to after-hours system emergencies under limited supervision. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Texas locations and work a rotating on-call schedule while adhering to DOT and PHMSA regulations.

Responsibilities

Program and maintain DCS, SIS, and PLC logic for facility operations
Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software faults on control systems
Commission new facilities and implement new control schemes
Develop best practice procedures and documentation for control systems
Respond to after-hours emergencies and manage on-call support duties
