Automotive Mechanic I

This position involves performing journey-level inspections, diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of light gasoline and diesel-powered motor vehicles and equipment independently. The role requires troubleshooting, conducting road tests, and submitting repair reports while ensuring all equipment is maintained to operational standards. The incumbent may also provide guidance to lower-level mechanics and assist with heavy equipment repairs when necessary.
