Automotive Mechanic

This role involves performing skilled preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment for the City of Coral Gables, including petroleum/electric vehicles, trucks, boats, transit buses, and emergency vehicles. The position requires diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining detailed records. Work is assigned and reviewed by an Automotive Coordinator, with the expectation of providing roadside assistance and coordinating with outside vendors as needed.
