AVID Cross-Age Tutor

The AVID Cross-Age Tutor provides direct, collaborative instructional support to students enrolled in the AVID elective course, assisting them in tutorial groups under the guidance of an AVID teacher. This part-time role aims to foster students' critical thinking, literacy, and math skills while serving as a positive role model to prepare them for college. Tutors are expected to actively participate in student learning and personal development, working approximately two days per week from December through June.
