AVP Government Affairs

The AVP Government Affairs plans, implements, and coordinates programs to affect government policy and legislation across a region of responsibility, focusing on growth opportunities and specific issues at the state, regional, and local levels. This position covers most of G&W's midwestern states as well as several other states, requiring detailed coordination with regional line managers and direct management of relations with state agencies and third parties. The role ensures compliance with lobbying laws and monitors legislative, regulatory, and administrative actions to represent the interests of the G&W affiliated railroad.
