The Backend Developer at Ordio is responsible for building and scaling Ordio’s Payroll Plus product, which automates payroll processes for blue-collar teams in Germany using PHP and Symfony. This role involves designing and optimizing backend systems on AWS, creating efficient tools for payroll administrators, and integrating with Ordio’s shift planning and time tracking modules. The developer will produce high-quality, maintainable code, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with Product and Design teams while mentoring junior engineers.
