Backend Engineer (Infra), Core Sending

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Core Sending Squad at Resend, you will design and build the infrastructure handling millions of daily API requests and email transmissions. This role involves scaling distributed applications, optimizing databases like Postgres and Clickhouse, and refining disaster recovery plans using tools such as CDK, Terraform, Datadog, and Kafka. You will work closely with a fully remote team to define architecture and ensure high availability for transactional and marketing emails.
