The Backend Quality Assurance Specialist drives quality for Rothera’s Exchange, Clearing, and Instrument management systems by extending the QA automation framework and implementing comprehensive testing. This role ensures the seamless orchestration of core financial technology platforms through rigorous front-end and back-end automation. The position is central to delivering a reliable, high-performance platform for a CFTC Regulated Exchange and Clearing business.
Rothera is an exchange and clearinghouse regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) that specializes in event contracts — financial instruments linked to real-world outcomes such as cultural and sporting events, macroeconomic developments, and geopolitical and policy risks. The platform enables institutions and intermediaries, including FCMs and market makers, to list, trade, clear, and settle these contracts on a single, neutral venue. Rothera is purpose-built to bring institutional-grade infrastructure and market structure to the emerging event contract market.
