About this role

Ostium is seeking a mid-level infrastructure/backend engineer to spearhead the migration of applications from a legacy system to a robust, new onchain infrastructure. This role involves using 100% Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to build, maintain, and manage services while decreasing latency and empowering developers to self-serve infrastructure needs. The engineer will also work on improving the new stack, creating local testing tools, and continuously enhancing system reliability and security through a Hacker Mindset.

Responsibilities

Migrate applications from legacy infrastructure to modern onchain systems
Implement 100% Infrastructure as Code for application deployment and management
Optimize system latency and increase visibility for critical financial applications
Develop stack orchestrator tools to enable effective local testing and validation
Enhance infrastructure reliability and security by coordinating contained attacks
