GLIDE is launching a community barbershop in San Francisco's Tenderloin that provides complimentary haircuts and uses the barber chair as a culturally relevant therapeutic environment to promote whole-person wellness. The Shop aims to reduce overdose deaths, increase linkages to care, and support individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and mental health challenges by building trusted relationships and connecting them to GLIDE’s continuum of care.
