Battery Management System Architect

The Battery Management System Architect owns the technical architecture, requirement set, and verification strategy for high-voltage BMS across Ford's advanced battery programs. This role serves as the technical authority for battery management subsystem partitioning, component communication, and behavior in normal and fault conditions. The position involves defining operating states, fault handling, internal communication architecture, and measurement accuracy requirements while ensuring full verification coverage of released requirements. The architect also leads interface control documentation, functional safety, cybersecurity requirements, and technical design reviews with internal teams and suppliers.
