BCBA

The BCBA specialist works with classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to develop, implement, and monitor behavioral and educational IEP goals for students on the autism spectrum and/or with behavioral challenges. This district-wide role involves writing behavioral programs based on functional behavioral assessments, researching and implementing behavior analytic curriculum models, and developing training programs for staff. The position requires collaboration with colleagues and administration to improve programs and procedures while maintaining composure and solving problems in difficult situations.
