The Behavior Intervention Specialist is responsible for planning and implementing person-centered Behavior Support Plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves hands-on redirection of maladaptive behaviors, crisis management, and providing individual counseling. The specialist also trains and supervises Team Leaders and Direct Support Professionals to ensure effective plan implementation.
