About this role

A Behavior Technician at MeBe works directly with children with autism, implementing treatment plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to enhance their behavioral, social, and communication skills in a one-on-one setting. Responsibilities include teaching essential skills, recording progress in a data collection system, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. The role requires consistent availability and may lead to obtaining behavior technician certification, as well as collaboration with clinical supervisors to ensure effective treatment strategies.

Qualifications

RBT/CBT certification preferredMust obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employmentPrevious training in First Aid Certified and CPR is preferredMust have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalentPreferred bachelor's degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology)
