About this role

A Behavior Technician at MeBe provides direct support to children with autism, focusing on developing their behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in one-on-one settings. The role involves implementing treatment plans set by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), documenting progress via a data collection system, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. Candidates will undergo training to obtain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and are expected to engage collaboratively with families and supervisors to enhance the therapeutic process.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.RBT/CBT certification preferred. Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment.Previous training in First Aid Certified and CPR is preferred.Ability to pass a background check.Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.
