Behavioral Health Counselor

The Behavioral Health Counselor provides high-quality patient care within the Behavioral Health Program by performing intake assessments, determining diagnoses, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The role involves delivering individual, family, couples, or group counseling using clinically sound and evidence-based practices while ensuring compliance with state Mental Health laws and regulatory standards. The counselor also assesses suicide risk, ensures patient safety, and facilitates psycho-educational groups to promote emotional, spiritual, and psychological health.
